Department 56 has become known for their exquisitely and unique hand made figurines and keepsakes, and revolutionized the standard for detailed, authentic, top of the line hand-crafted and hand-painted home decors. Among these works of art emerged a new line collection known as Snowbabies.
Department 56's Snowbabies collection are beautifully hand made sculptures having fun and joy in the winter snow that evoke the happy memories we had. The concept of Snowbabies began when artist Kristi Jensen Pierro saw the happiness of her children while playing in the snow resulting to the joyful representation combined with artistic sculptures. You can also cherish pictures of your family and friends, especially your new-born children with the cheery picture frames line-up.
Beloved Disney characters also make cameos with our Walt Disney Showcase Snowbabies. Find them petting the adorable Bambi, sledding with Goofy and Pluto, charmed by Snow White, collecting snowflakes with the mischievous Tinkerbell, rowing with Ariel, Sebastian and Flounder, spend Enchanting Day with Belle, happily dancing with Pinocchio and Giepeto, decorating the Christmas tree with Minnie. These are just a few of Disney characters presenting their magical presence with Snowbabies.
