Wee Forest Folk collection is inspired by cute little mice portraying people and depicting our activities in everyday life. Created by Annette Petersen 30 years ago, creation of the Wee Forest Folk has grown into a family affair involving Annette and her three children Willy, Donna and Jenny, to the good number of people in Carlisle, Massachusetts.
Wee Forest Folk gives out understandable messages through its non-moving sculptures. It also celebrates all holidays and seasons, and common and special everyday life. Each piece symbolizes the metaphor of love and affection and triumph: Celebrate the dawning of a great country during the Boston Tea Party with the Wee Forest Folk Jolly Tar Sailors collection.
Get excited with the trick or treating Dragon Dress Up mouse on Halloween. Remember the time when your first born took his or her first step, let baby Weencie help you with that, and tell your children about how they came about when Mr. Stork brought them with the Special Arrival.

Like any other starting artist, Annette carved her first mouse out of bread dough, which was ironically nibbled by a real mouse. Today’s molding methods for each piece have evolved to add strength and last longer. All of our sculptors and painters give out their best by giving careful time and patience to give life to every figure becoming an art form as it is.
Everything's fun with Wee Forest Folk.
